Mixing Chemical Vocation from Sweden!

Chemical Vocation is a pop-punk band from Sweden. The band members have no hair straighteners, no money, no clothes but have a lot of passion and talent for writing catchy hooks and melodies. The album “Write This Moment” that I mixed and mastered will be out on April 18th. You can watch below the trailer of the album and some shots from the videoclip of their first single called “We’re not here to give up”. You can also watch the the full version of video clip on YouTube!

COLORSOUND #1 on Musique Plus

The band recently performed live on Musique Plus and their debut single, Top of the World, has reached #1 on the Top 5 on Musique Plus. COLORSOUND will also perform at Much Music Studios on February 13th.

The band DreamFace from Edmonton for which I mixed and mastered the upcoming album is now online and they have released a video trailer for ‘Someone Else’s Hand’. The band has also been featured on Kings of A&R and they recently played a sellout headliner in Edmonton at the PawnShop as well as a show at the Drake Hotel in Toronto for the Toronto International Film Festival.

Meeting David Bendeth

I just came back from New Jersey to meet multi-platinum award-winning producer David Bendeth at his studio The House Of Loud. For those who don’t have a clue who he is, he produced and mixed artists such as Paramore, Breaking Benjamin, Papa Roach, Hedley, All Time Low, Mayday Parade, Taking Back Sunday, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Hawthorne Heights, Set Your Goals, Underoath, The Almost, Killswitch Engage and many more. I spent almost three hours with him and learned some really cool tricks while he was mixing a song for a brand new artist called Kaile Goh.

“Ramona and Beezus” movie trailer featuring Colorsound

The song ‘Top Of The World’ I produced for Colorsound made the Top 100 in Quebec’s Palmares and keeps climbing the charts. The track was recently placed on the Canadian version for the movie trailer “Ramona and Beezus” (a 20th Century Fox movie). The band is currently shooting the music video for the single and they will be performing on Much Music TV later this Fall. They are also featured in this month’s issue of Substream Music Press.

Jeffrey Piton to open for Adam Lambert

This will be a big opportuniy for this young talented artist to show what he is capable of. Jeffrey will be back  in studio with me this summer to record his first EP album. Jeffrey Piton’s first single!

You can hear Jeffrey Piton‘s first single called ‘We All Heal’ in my Discography section. This young song writer from Montreal has a lot of potential and has an amazing voice. This pop/folk/rock song is the type of summer song that will put a big smile on your face no matter how you feel. I also played the drum on the track. Jeffrey will be back in studio with me in August to record his first EP.

Colorsound to open for Our Lady Peace
